Read Online White Fragility Book. The New York Times best-selling book exploring the counterproductive reactions white people have when their assumptions about race are challenged, and how these reactions maintain racial inequality.

In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to ‘bad people’ (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves that white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt, and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent any meaningful cross-racial dialogue. In this in-depth exploration, DiAngelo examines how white fragility develops, how it protects racial inequality, and what we can do to engage more constructively.

This author needs to write comedy! This book made me Laugh and that’s pretty pathetic. Oh by the way I’m black 🤦🏾‍♂️& never had any problems in a white neighborhood.
  • Utter rubbish

    By HudsonHawk77
This book is racist. Because it’s written by a racist. Who is claiming to be a racist in this very book. Utter trash, riddled with contradictions and paradoxes, like the one stayed above.

  • Thank you

    By Assilem:)
Thank you for writing on a topic that I am dedicated to learn more about. Thank you for challenging my learned habits and mindset. However, Robin’s writing style was just not my favorite. She spends way too much time apologizing for what white fragility is. It might have been more of an effective book to me if she spent more time explaining certain scenarios of white fragility. If we’re trying to unlearn something then someone needs to write a rule book. I think that’s partly why a Bible was written in the first place 🧐

  • Corporate Creed

Do not fall for this simplistic, overhyped, poorly thought out book. A highly paid corporate HR gun telling white people for thousands of dollars a pop that they will remain racist even if they don’t know it no matter what. So I guess they need her services forever? This is very convenient for powerful corporate bosses who want a gold star for “inclusiveness” without actually having to diversify their work force. Not so helpful for minorities or their poorly compensated white employees forced into listening to this white woman. Read Isabelle Wilkerson on the Great Migration, Michelle Alexander on mass incarceration or anything by Coates instead, Don’t waste your money on a false prophet.
  • Complete garbage. Dumpster fire material.

    By vintagetoolman
This book is itself the purest form of racist garbage collected together yet, written to create white guilt and to try and shame people into apologizing for the actions of generations long dead to attempt to create false pity. This book was written by a racist, and is a liberal brainwashing tool. This book was written by an author who only used skewed data and highly inaccurate and questionable sources for their information. Anybody who promotes this is garbage dumpster fire is a racist bigot. As a POC (person of Color) AKA a PROUD BLACK SKINNED CONSERVATIVE MAN, I can confidently say that this is racist, and is promoting lack of responsibility in black folks to stand up the REAL OPPRESSORS, WHITE and BLACK DEMOCRATS and liberals who pander to us constantly. Save your money for your retirement and for the next democrat backed hike in your taxes. God bless AMERICA and Donald Trump!
  • This book is dangerous for America.

    By Tigonie
I simply don’t understand all of these brainwashed leftists who think this book is anywhere close to insightful or teaching. They tell us we are rascist for being white and that we are bolstering this disgraceful, rascist author´s Point by giving 1 star reviews. I know some people might not have explained very clearly why this book was bad, but if they actually took some time to read some of the more insightful reviews they might notice that it wasn’t a coincidence that some people actually read it with a brain on their heads and noticed some of the less than subtle flaws in this work. If you are a leftist, you probably loved this book because it coddled your warped ideology and elevated your fellow woke people to a moral standard higher than anyone else’s. And since you are simply trying to gain power and political ground for your nonsensical ideals, you don’t listen to any opposition, or just plain slander it as being rascist. Just like this book does. It is not only a hateful book designed to divide America along racial lines, but a fatally dangerous book to the America we thought we stood for if it succeeds in this goal. I would like to refer to an irreverent and informed review(debunking) of this book by Ben Shapiro. Recommend that if you wish to delve into the qualities that define this book as dangerous, stupid and of course, racist. The division in these reviews shows just how divided we are already. We can’t let this happen to us. To America. It’s vital that we don’t navigate our lives after this book and this ideology. Or else America is doomed to be ripped apart.
